Sandbagging in Clarksville alongside @monationalguard. The Mississippi River rose significantly overnight, and folks were working around the clock to continue building the levees. Volunteers are still needed!
If you’re in the Jefferson City area and are interested in helping out with tornado relief, head to the Volunteer Reception Center at the Sears wing of the Capital Mall building starting today to register with @unitedwaycemo! A team of ACSTL Members will be there to put you to work!
Serve hard, play hard! Over the weekend, our team took part in a float trip down the Meramec River! #teambonding #floaton 🛶☀️👒
Throw back to April’s group service project with @stlredcross! ACSTL participated in their annual “Sound the Alarm” campaign, where we traveled to at-risk homes across the St. Louis metro region and installed almost 100 smoke detectors! #endhomefires #soundthealarm
Today is #GiveSTLDay! A day of supporting your favorite local St. Louis nonprofits, including AmeriCorps St. Louis! Today we are raising $2,500 to celebrate the 25 years ACSTL has been serving our communities through disaster response, conservation, wildland firefighting, our winter warming shelter, and the countless other ways we engage with the community. We couldn’t do it without your support.
